Which data are required for motor-gearbox matching?
Motor power, voltage, speed, mounting flange/shaft, brake arrangement and gearbox ratio are reviewed together. External appearance alone is not a reliable basis for part selection.
Why inspect the electrical group with the drive?
Supply, contactors/relays, control voltage, brake supply and motor circuit are part of the same motion chain. Linking an electrical symptom to mechanical load is important in fault diagnosis.
What can operating symptoms indicate?
No rotation, humming, one-direction failure, brake release problems, overheating or abnormal noise lead to different diagnostic paths. Electrical measurement and intervention should be performed by competent personnel.
What should be sent for part identification?
Share motor and gearbox nameplates, panel/control labels, connection photos, shaft/flange dimensions, motion information and a fault video where available.
